4 Struggles Busty Ladies Should NOT Face

4 major boob problems only girls with bigger breasts face Graphic by: Jourdan Rahschulte

Breasts, boobs, boobies, melons - Ladies whatever you want to call them, we all got them.

So let’s get real about our breasts.

I think we can all agree that us women with larger breasts have a harder time finding a bra that actually fits...

without breaking the bank that is.

The average American woman sports a 34DD.

Let’s think about that for a minute… Average…

So, there’s half as many women who fit into smaller standard sizes as there are women with larger voluptuousness. 50% of women have larger breasts than mainstream bra companies can even handle!!

So here are the 4 most annoying things that tick me off as a larger chested woman.

1) How much do you spend on bras in a year?

Being a larger-breasted woman means spending more money, more time and more frustration trying to find bras that fit.

Sure, an off-the-rack bralette would be great, they look so comfy AND cute, but no…not for me, not for half of American women.

So what do we do?

Bigger-breasted women go for bra fittings, running us $100, then each bra starts at $150.

And each time our weight fluctuates, like when our periods come to town and rain havoc, we need a different bra to fit us properly.

We’re talking serious investment now, and why?

Because the bra industry can’t handle these curves!?

2) Not many options!!

How come big bras usually come in neutrals or animal prints and over the top lace?

Like, really!?

Don’t get me wrong, I love wearing bras with lace and frills that make me feel sexy, whether I stay at home or go for a night out.

But you cannot wear something like that everyday to work without somehow showing through your shirt!! And then the neutral bras look like I took them straight out of my grandma’s closet!!

Where are all the cute, everyday bras with subtle patterns and details?

Why everytime I see a beautiful, colorful bra it stops at DD cup??? I want it too!!

If the average American woman is a 34DD cup, you’d think more options would be available for women with bigger breasts.

Let’s get real, we can do better.

3) The embarrassing malfunction

The nip slip, the wardrobe malfunction, you know what I’m talking about.

When your boobs jump out of your bra while you’re racing to a meeting…

or crossing the street…

or making a quick turn to your office…

or bending down to pick up a pen…

and that moment of horror when you have to scoop your girls back into your bra, into this bra that has failed you again.

This happens all the time, it happens because the bra isn’t the right shape for your boobs or because the bra isn’t supportive enough.

Ladies, we need to give our girls and ourselves the support we need.

Let’s talk about our breasts, these features we all have, each set unique and different and each our very own. We wouldn’t buy heels in the wrong size, why are we treating our boobs worse than our feet?

Don’t they at least deserve that courtesy and wouldn’t it save us all those wardrobe malfunctions.

4) The painful red shoulder marks

Everyday we carry the weight of the world on our shoulders, from work responsibilities to family responsibilities to,

oh yeah,

working on ourselves maybe!

But we’re also carrying a lot of our boob weight on our shoulders, as evidenced by the burning, itching, sore red strap marks on our shoulders.

Why do we put up with this?

Most of the bra band is supposed to support our girls, hold them up proudly and authoritatively, but bras that are cheaply made and of bad quality don’t do this effectively and instead leave the hard work to these flimsy straps to hold the fort and they take it out on our skin.

Same goes if you’re wearing a bra that’s too small, the shoulder straps do more work than their paygrade, sound familiar?

So, let’s give our shoulders a break, they’ve got enough weight on them already!!

Let’s offer them gel padding that doesn’t heat up and make you sweaty like the foam straps out there, and they offer plenty of backup support.

Because really, a bra that makes you sweat is the last thing you need when your To-Do list is longer than your day.

So, most of us just settle… we settle for discomfort… we settle for not good enough…

and that’s not what any of us should do ever!

We need to take back the bra, take back control over our own bodies and dress them respectfully, in a bra that suits us, in a bra that matches our taste, in a bra that works as hard as we do and is just as hot as we are.

Ladies, is it just me or is it time our bras worked as hard as we do?

Time we treated ourselves and our boobs better?

Time for a better bra for all of us?

SO HOW DO WE KNOW ALL OF THIS?

Aside from being women who are trying to solve this problem instead of corporate guys who only care about quantity over quality, we have spent the past 3 years interviewing and surveying over 500 women, we have researched all the bra data that exists on this planet, have interviewed gynecologists and naturopaths to learn about breast health and fluctuations and have partnered with the most skilled and experienced bra designers.

House of Anesi has designed bras that will conform to your breast and body changes and will reduce your shoulder and back pain. We made sure to offer cup sizes all the way to an H cup. We have used the latest advanced fabrics so you can forget that you are even wearing a bra, have designed a patent pending 3D Printed understructure that will provide support but will also adapt to your body and lastly, we have made gel straps that will release pressure points on your shoulders.
